Foley Missouri Man Dies In Trailer Home Fire

FOLEY, MO. (KTVI) – Fire investigators believe a smoldering cigarette might have caused a deadly fire near Foley Missouri.  The Lincoln County Fire Protection District found Robert Voorhees senior  in his mobile home on Blackmore Road Friday morning.

The fire had put itself out prior to a 911 call from a family member.

The official cause of death is under investigation, but it’s believed Voorhees died from smoke inhalation.

There were no working smoke detectors in the home.
