CARLINVILLE, IL (KTVI) – Authorities in Macoupin County say one person died as a result of slick roads in Illinois on Thursday.  The single-car crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on Rust Road in the Bunker Hill, IL area.

A 2003 Ford Expedition had been traveling eastbound on Rust Road when the driver struck a utility pole. The female driver, Erin Katherine Jarman, 31, was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead. Authorities say icy roads and windy conditions contributed to the crash.

Jarman was from Houston, Missouri. Police say she was near Bunker Hill visiting relatives.
