MoDOT plows kept Interstate 270 in west and south St. Louis County clear all morning long.  But, crews had to work a little harder to get ice and snow off of highways in Iron, Dent, Reynolds, Washington,  Ste. Genevieve, and St. Francois Counties.

In Illinois, IDOT crews were able to clear up roads in Carbondale.   They then turned their attention to  highways in the Mount Vernon and Salem areas where snow accumulations were heavier.
