Illini Regroup, Blast Ohio State 74-55

After a frustrating loss this past Wednesday at Purdue, the Fighting Illini regrouped in a big way and beat number eight Ohio State 74-55 Saturday afternoon at Assembly Hall in Champaign.

Brandon Paul led the Illini with 19 points, whule center Nnanna Egwu scored a career high 16 points in the victory. Illinois led by as many as 25 points in the game. The win evens Illinois’ Big Ten record at 1-1 and ups their season mark to 14-2.
