(KTVI) – Indictments were handed down Wednesday against the former Ladue fire chief.

The feds accuse Eric Hinson of taking hundreds of thousands of dollars from the St. Clair Missouri Fire District and using it for family vacations, cash advances and limousine rides.

Hinson is the former chief of the St. Clair District, where he's accused of misusing nearly $600,000 dollars from 2006 to 2011.

This is video from Hinson at the Ladue Fire Department when he served as chief but has since resigned.

He resigned from both St. Clair and Ladue.
