ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- The Missouri Department of Health is reporting widespread flu across the state but the good news is no one has died from it yet.

But experts say that could change in a matter of weeks.

They say while its bad now, it could get even worse because the flu strain hitting most of the rest of the country hasn't hit here yet. That strain has killed people in other parts of the country.

They say there's still time to get the flu vaccine and have it take effect before that strain gets here.
