Saints Fire Spagnuolo

After just one season as the defensive coordinator of the Saints, Steve Spagnuolo once again finds himself out of a job. Spagnuolo who was the Rams head coach for three seasons from 2009-2011, was let go on Thursday by New Orleans Head Coach Sean Payton. Spagnuolo’s defense allowed 7,042 yards the most in NFL history in a single season. The Saints defense also allowed 454 points in the 2012 season. Ken Flajole was also fired by the Saints. He was the team’s secondary coach. Flajole was Spagnuolo’s defensive coordinator here with the Rams during the 2009-2011 seasons.
