WEBSTER GROVES, MO (KTVI) – Bill Kunz, from Hwy 61 Roadhouse and Kitchen, and Tom Coghill, from Iron Barley, are throwing it down for an all-out winter chill barbecue.

Saturday, Hwy 61 Roadhouse and Kitchen holds it's third annual Freeze Que.  The Freeze Que kicks off the competitive BBQ season with brave souls battling the cold for top trophies.  Thirty teams will compete in the elements for bragging rights to see who has the best in Chicken, Ribs, and the best dish using that day’s Mystery Meat.

The event is sanctioned and judged by the St. Louis BBQ Society.

Fans of good BBQ can come out and for $20 enjoy some rib and chicken samples. The proceeds benefit Rainbows for Kids. There will also be music from the local band 2 Hoosiers and a Hatchet.
