St. Louis (KTVI) – The St. Louis Blues began a four-game homestand Tuesday night with a thud.  The Blues gave up three quick goals in the first period at Scottrade Center, and were blown out in a 6-1 loss to the Nashville Predators.  Alex Pietrangelo scored the lone goal for the Blues, knocking in a power-play goal in the 2nd period.  T.J. Oshie and David Perron assisted on the goal.  Nashville was led by Goalie Pekka Rinne, who made 31 saves against the Blue Note.  Six different players scored goals for Nashville.  The Blues are next in action Thursday night against rival Detroit Red Wings.  They will also welcome Anaheim and Los Angeles during this homestand.  The game against Los Angeles on Monday will mark the first meeting between the two since the Stanley Cup Champion Kings knocked the Blues out of the playoffs last year.
