Dog That’s Beaten The Odds, Rescued From House Fire

Update: Lola passed away Friday, after two firefighters pulled her from a house fire in Alton.  The family says the smoke inhalation was too much for her.

ALTON, IL. (KTVI) – Alton firefighters are being hailed as  heroes for rescuing a dog from a house fire.

The dog is in rough shape, but a vet is hopeful she’ll recover.

Lola has been the odds before, surviving cancer and being attacked last year by two bigger dogs.
