Girl Killed Same Day Her Sister Sat Behind Obama

(KTVI) – Just hours after Destini McFarlane sat behind President Obama as he delivered his speech on violence, McFarlane’s sister was gunned down in a Chicago alley. Janay McFarlane was visiting friends Friday night in North Chicago when a bullet meant for a friend hit Janay in the head at 11:30 p.m.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, two suspects are being questioned by police and the Lake County State’s Attorney’s office. No charges have been filed.
