The Chicago Blackhawks scored just 12 seconds into the game and shut out the Blues 3-0 on Thursday night at Scottrade Center. Hawks captain Jonathan Toews led a quick rush up ice and scored just 12 seconds after the first puck dropped. Chicago then added third period goals from Andrew Shaw and Toews again to finish the scoring. The win improves the Blackhawks gaudy record to 17-0-3 on the season. The depleted Blues played the game without injured forwards Vladimir Tarasenko, Andy McDonald and Alexander Steen.
