Two Women Charged In Beating Of 78-Year-Old Woman

Nina Dorsey, 46, and Julia Tillis, 43, face aggravated battery charges after allegedly beating an elderly nursing home patient.

CASEYVILLE, IL (KTVI) – Two women are facing aggravated battery charges after allegedly beating an elderly patient at the Caseyville Nursing & Rehab Center Friday. Caseyville Police responded to a disturbance call at the nursing facility located in the 600 block of W. Lincoln.

Nina Dorsey, 46, and Julia Tillis, 43, allegedly forcibly removed a handicapped a 78 year old patient out of the nursing home and battered her.

Police apprehended the two in the parking lot of the nursing home. They are being held in St. Clair County Jail. The State’s Attorney’s office filed official charges on Saturday.

The 78-year-old woman was transported to Belleville Memorial Hospital. Her condition has not been released.
