ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – In north St. Louis Wednesday morning, a car crashed into a house in the 4400 block of West Florissant.

An accident involving two cars near West Florissant and Carrie happened around 10:15am. One of the cars went careening into the front of the apartment building.

There was some damage to the building, but no serious injuries to anyone.

A man was in the first floor unit when the car struck the building. He said the impact was loud. He was in the next room over and was not injured.

That man and a mother and her two children who live upstairs will have to find somewhere else to stay until the building is repaired. They are working with the apartment management company to find alternate housing until repairs are made.

The driver of one of the cars was taken to an area hospital. She’s a woman in her 20s. Her mother says they took her to the hospital just as a precaution.
