Man Allegedly Stabbed Girlfriend in Face While Driving on I-44

EUREKA, MO (KTVI)– Eureka Police Department officers pulled a car over Friday after they received a 911 call about it being driven erratically on westbound Interstate 44. Police said the driver was swerving from shoulder to shoulder. But when the car was stopped, a woman, who was covered in blood, jumped from it.

Police said the woman’s boyfriend, Eldar Gyunashev, 33, stabbed her in the face Friday, and threatened to kill her.
