Blues and Allen Shut Out Coyotes 3-0

Jake Allen continues his mastery in the Blues net with a 3-0 shutout win over the Coyotes on Thursday night at Scottrade Center. It’s Allen’s first NHL shutout and raises his record to 7-1 with the Blues. Allen made 28 saves in the win. Chris Stewart scored two goals in the game to raise his season total to 13. Alex Steen returned to the Blues lineup from injury and scored the other Blues goal. The line of Steen, Stewart and David Backes accounted for all three Blues goals.
