(KTVI) - Tuesday the Rams signed free agent tight end Jared Cook to a 5-year contract worth $35.1 million, including $19 million guaranteed.
The 25-year old Cook played his first 4 NFL seasons with the Titans, where Jeff Fisher was his head coach for the first two.
In 2012 the 6'5, 248-pounder caught 44 passes for 523 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Cook was one of the most coveted tight ends on the market due to his incredible speed for his size. He's been clocked at 4.49 in the 40-yard dash.
FOX 2's Charlie Marlow caught up with the newest Ram at Cook's introductory press conference.
Here they discuss a number of topics including playing for Fisher, Cook's role in the offense, and the former South Carolina Gamecock does his best impression of the Ol' Ball Coach, Steve Spurrier.
