Fight Breaks Out, Shots Fired At North City Vigil

NORTH ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- St. Louis police had to respond to a candlelight vigil after a fight broke out and gunshots were fired at a woman there. The vigil was held at Friday afternoon at Riverview and Veronica.

A 20-year-old woman got into a physical fight with two other women she knew. During the fight, a male suspect began hitting the 20 year old.  After the fight had broken up, the same male suspect and another man fired multiple gunshots at the victim.

No one was injured. Police continue to investigate.

There is no word on for what or for whom the vigil was being held.
