Cleveland NJROTC’s Future Could Be Decided Wednesday

(KTVI) – Supporters of Cleveland NJROTC should learn Wednesday night if their efforts to save the school are working.

St. Louis Superintendent Kelvin Adams will present his recommendations on whether to close Cleveland as well as the other three schools.

The school board will then vote on whether to approve his recommendations.

Cleveland NJROTC boasts high academic achievement and graduation rates. However, this junior naval academy is the smallest high school in St. Louis, with just 266 students.
The superintendent says its low enrollment makes it too costly to keep open.
