Cardinals third baseman David Freese still bothered by an ailing back since falling into the stands going for a foul ball back on March 4 will have an M-R-I done on Monday, March 25th. Freese has had only 15 at bats since the fall

In the Cardinals spring training game on Sunday, the Birds blew a 6-0 lead and lost to the Mets 10-7. Jon Jay had three hits and 2 RBI. Allen Craig also drove in a couple of runs with a double in the 4th inning. Yadier Molina and Pete Kozma accounted for the other RBI for the Cards. Jake Westbrook pitched six innings, allowing just two earned runs. It was the Cardinals bullpen that failed, allowing seven runs over the final three innings of the game.
