(KTVI)– Imagine getting a call that your camera lost on a beach has been found and your pictures are fine.

That’s what one man is hoping to do after finding a camera that washed up on the beach.

It happened on the east coast of Taiwan. A China airline’s employee found the Canon camera in February.

The camera was covered in barnacles, but the memory card was still intact five and a half years later.

It is believed the camera drifted from Kaanapali, Hawaii since there were pictures of an August 2007 trip there.

Airline officials are assuming the blonde woman from the photos owns the camera and they have been trying to locate her.

If the woman is located, she will have an open ticket from China airlines to pick up the camera in Taiwan.
