Cardinals And St. Louis Police Release Road & Safety Tips For Opening Day

(KTVI) – The St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Police have release road and safety tips for the Cardianls Opening Day on Monday, April 8th.  They want to remind the public that due to construction around Busch Stadium, fans should obey and follow street closure and safety precautions.

Some of the changes are:

  • 8th Street is now a two-way street between Clark and Market with two north and southbound lanes.
  • Temporary stop signs are currently in place at the intersections of 8th Street and Clark, as well as 8th Street and Walnut.
  • The pedestrian bridge from the Stadium West Parking garage had been removed, while the sidewalk has been enlarged.
