Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. That was true even before January 2010, when a horrendous earthquake took over 300,000 lives, injured nearly as many, and left 1 million people homeless.

Volunteers from a Granite City church have been traveling to Haiti to work with kids in orphanages and schools since before the massive quake.Their work is even more important now.

The volunteers will be hosting a barbeque fundraiser so they can purchase more clothing, shoes and personal care items for the kids in Haiti. Come to Grace Church on Rt. 111 in Granite City, IL, on May 3, 2013, from 10:30am-7pm. All proceeds will benefit the Haiti missions.
