Man Arrested For Posting Message On Facebook

MADISON COUNTY, IL (KTVI) – An Alton man was arrested after posting a message on Facebook.  Joshua Clark, 29, was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct after someone reported the message.

The posting read, “Hey Madison County Courthouse…tick, tick, tick…boom.”

Clark admitted to posting the message. Detectives determined the threat was not legitimate and there was no bomb or device that would endanger anyone’s safety.

Clark posted Bond and was released.
