Pitino Fulfills Promise, Gets NCAA Champs Tattoo

LOUISVILLE, KY (KTVI)- University of Louisville men’s basketball head coach Rick Pitino followed through on a promise to his players. Pitino, 60, promised his players that he would get a tattoo if they won the NCAA Tournament.  They did win, beating Michigan 82-76 back on Apr. 9.

So now, Pitino is showing off his new ink. Pictures of the tattoo were posted Friday on the Twitter account of Louisville Senior Associate Athletic Director for Media Relations Kenny Klein.

According to ESPN, the tattoo was inked at done at Tattoo Salvation in Louisville, KY.
