(KTVI) - If you've paid attention to American entertainment in the last 30 years, you've heard of the Osmonds. And now new generations of this talented family are entertaining audiences all over the world.

That includes David  Osmond, the son of Alan Osmond.  You might also remember he auditioned for Season 8 of American Idol.

But right now, he's talking about a personal struggle. David is battling Multiple Sclerosis, the same auto-immune disease as his famous dad.

David will be speaking and singing at the Ritz-Carlton in Clayton on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.   Tickets are $75 per person and all the funds raised stay local and go directly to the almost 7,000 people in the St. Louis area affected by M.S.
