ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - The St. Louis Zoo is growing. But before the St. Louis Zoo would break one piece of ground in their new expansion, officials asked for feedback from visitors.

Officials bought the old Forest Park Hospital in October 2012.  They held an open house that December.  The design team let visitors weigh in on what they want to see in the new addition.

The zoo announced officials would publish final plans early this summer.  And when the construction is finished, the zoo would then actually cross Interstate 64/40.  But for now, the zoo wants to hear from you in Wednesday`s open house.
