Dave murray’s latest stl forecast and weather disco…For friday…May 3, 2013

*** the shift is complete on friday…A gross day in and around st. Louis…Periods of rain and chilly to cold…A raw day to be out and about…Slow…Very slow improvement over the weekend***

Friday:

Clouds and chilly to cold…With periods of rain…Heavy rain at times
Winds: northwest 10-20 m.P.H.
High: 52 degrees.

Friday night:

Periods of cold rain…Heavy at times
Winds: north 5-15 m.P.H.
Low: 43 degrees.

Saturday:

Clouds with showers during the day…Still chilly
Winds: north 5-15 m.P.H.
High: 58 degrees

Mostly cloudy on sunday with a few spotty showers…Limited rain on sunday…60 to 65 degrees

The weather disco:

Little change in the overall thought…As we deal with a major shift in weather patterns…Two players on the weather map…A slow moving bolwing ball low pressure coming from the west and a moisture surge rising from the gulf of mexico…This low and the moisture will get bogged down over the middle of the nation..Another cut-off low pressure out of the main flow…So it will hang around for several days…A soaking, cold rain friday and friday night…Heavy rain at times…Watch for flash flooding along the small sream and creeeks…Then we will watch the bigger rivers over the weekend as the water all drains. Saturday–clouds and chilly with some showers around much of the day…Sunday…Slightly…Slightly better…Mostly cloudy..A few showers…The patterns holds on monday..Then tuesday…Dry…Partly sunny and warmer…Mid 70’s on tuesday. Hang in there…A complete reverse of the spring last year.
