(KTVI)-Saturday was the championship game of the Ritneour soccer tournament. St. Charles took on Ladue. Late in the first half, St. Charles midfielder Leah Towell chips the ball into the Ladue goal box, follows the play up, and blasts the loose ball into the net. 1-0 Lady Pirates. Ladue put some good pressure on in the second half, but St. Charles holds on to win the Ritenour tournament, 1-0. The Pirates improve to 14 and 1 on the year.

The day also saw round 1 action in the Missouri Water Polo State Championship tournament. Top-seeded SLUH advanced with a 14-0 win over Marquette. The No. 2 seed Parkway West  topped Fort Zumwalt West 19-7.  And No. 3 seed MICDS won, beating Clayton 14-6.
