Joggers Robbed Near Carondelet Park

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A runner was robbed on Leona Street near Carondelet Park at around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday. Two joggers saw a tan car park near them while running. They then saw another car make a u-turn to approach them from the rear.

The teen girl driving the car asked the joggers for directions. When the victim approached the vehicle three teens assaulted him on foot. They took one of the jogger’s cell phones. Then all five suspects then got in a car in headed northbound on Leona.

Police arrested a 17-year-old white female and black male. A 15-year-old white female has been taken into the custody of juvenile authorities. Two other suspects remain at large. They are both described as black males between 16-18 years old who are about 5’6″ tall and have a small build.

The victim has been taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
