MINNESOTA (KTVI)-A perfect combination of strong winds and breaking ice created a strange sight in Minnesota. Winds of 40 miles per hour were pushing large piles of ice shards on shore towards townhomes Saturday along the southern edge of Mille Lacs Lake.

At least one home was damaged when the ice broke a sliding door.
