Man Drags Girlfriend By Hair, Punches Her In Face, Police Say

(KTVI) – A Chesterfield man has been charged with second-degree domestic assault after police said he dragged his girlfriend by the hair and hit her in the face Thursday.

Chesterfield Police said it’s not the man’s first act of domestic violence.

Police say Mark S. Shepard, 38, of the 14200 block of Rainy Lake Drive in Chesterfield, has been charged with domestic assault 11 times since 2007. He pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree domestic assault in 2008.
