ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- The local Bosnian community contains roughly 70,000 people in the St. Louis area.

Thursday night's match is a very hot ticket amongst that community because of one man. Number 10, Edin Dzeko, known better by his countrymen, as the Bosnian diamond.

Recent Bayless High School grad and son of a Bosnian college soccer player, Fazlo Alihodzic said the hallways at his former school buzzed at the news of the Bosnian national soccer star Edin Dzeko coming to town with Manchester City.

Faz has not been able to get tickets to the match yet, but is not giving up.

Fazlo, a 4-year soccer star at Bayless High School, doesn't want to miss his chance to see a Bosnian national soccer star live in action.

Some employees at the Bosnian newspaper in South City had a little better luck scoring tickets to the match, and they cannot wait to see Dzeko.

Bosnian soccer fans also shed some light on Dzeko's popularity by comparing him to other big names.

Fazlo is taking his soccer talents to play for the University of Iowa next year.
