Man Assaulted Near St. Patrick’s Center

(KTVI) – One man is hospitalized and another is in police custody after a dispute turned violent in Downtown St. Louis.

It happened in the 800 block of North Tucker near the St. Patrick’s Center Monday afternoon.

According to the St. Louis Police, the men were having an argument when the 50-year-old suspect hit the 51-year-old victim with a board from a nearby construction site.

Then the suspect pulled out a pair of scissors and cut the man in the face.   Officers were able to arrest the suspect.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he is in serious but stable condition.
