Man Who Posed as UPS Driver to Rob Elderly Woman Arrested

ELLISVILLE, MO (KTVI) – The man accused of pretending to be a UPS delivery man and robbing an elderly Ellisville resident is now in jail.

Authorities arrested Tyson D. McGuire, 37, on Monday just one month after the alleged crime.  On April 27, McGuire allegedly posed as a UPS man and forced his way into a women’s home.  He then taped his victim to a stove and stole several items, according to police.

McGuire was arrested at an apartment in the 4000 block of Macklind Avenue Monday afternoon.  He is charged with Burglary and Kidnapping.
