Missing Man Walks Into Reporter’s Live Shot

LIVINGSTON, ME (KTVI) – A television report on a missing 73-year-old man with dementia switched gears when he re-appeared during a live broadcast.

A description of Bob McDonough was reported throughout the morning news to viewers near Portland, Maine.

During a reporter’s last live shot, a man walked up from behind and identified himself as McDonough.

The reporter and cameraman were a little suspicious, so they contacted authorities. McDonough’s identify was verified when family members arrived.

He had a bit of blood on his hand, but otherwise appeared to be fine.
