Suspected Drug Dealer Linked To St. Clair County Judge Appears In Court

EAST ST. LOUIS, IL (KTVI)-- An admitted heroin addict linked to the St. Clair County drug scandal made his appearance in federal court in East St. Louis Thursday.

Suspected drug dealer Sean McGilvery waived his right to a detention hearing for the time being.

McGilvery was one of three arrested in the scandal along with a St. Clair County probation officer and a circuit judge.

The judge's trial is scheduled to begin in East St. Louis in late July.
