Ellington Man Drowns In Drainage Pipe

REYNOLDS COUNTY, MO (KFVS)-An Ellington, Missouri man drowned after becoming lodged in a drainage pipe. It happened around 9:20 a.m. Saturday, five miles south of Ellington in Reynolds County, Missouri.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, 55-year-old Mathew A. Stanley was in a private pond and was unable to free himself after being lodged in a drainage pipe.

Investigators say Stanley drowned and was pronounced dead at the scene by Reynolds County authorities.
