Granite City 3 Year Old Dies In ATV Crash

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MO (KTVI)- A three-year-old Granite City boy died after a crash during an ATV ride in the Mark Twain National Forest.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Aiden Whitehead of Granite City, IL was riding on a Polaris Ranger with two family members when it crashed. All three were ejected. Emergency crews rushed the victims to a hospital.

Three year old Aiden died from his injuries. The two passengers, Katie Whitehead, 26, and Eric Whitehead,  26, suffered minor injuries.

The Highway Patrol and the Forest Service are investigating the crash.
