ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Dine and dance under the stars at the Saint Louis Zoo's biennial creative black-tie party, ZOOFARI 2013 presented by Wells Fargo Advisors.

Garland Griffin, with Griffin and the Gargoyles, says this is best party in town.

The day of the event, the Zoo will be open to the public from 8 a.m. until 12 noon, when it will close for preparations. That means this Friday, you’ll want to get to the zoo early – or plan to come late and party all night.

Huey Lewis and the News will thrill partygoers with rock, rhythm and blues from the band behind hits like 'The Power of Love,' 'Heart of Rock and Roll' and 'If this is It.' Additional entertainment will be provided by Fabulous Motown Revue, DJ Nune, Griffin and the Gargoyles, Peter Schankman Trio and DJ Andrew Mullins.

There will be music, food, a silent auction and raffle tickets.

Auction items, raffle tickets and merchandise are now available for bidding and purchase at, and will be available at the event. Advance reservations are required.

The event will be held rain or shine. Free parking is provided on the South Lot on Wells Drive. All attendees must be at least 21 years of age.
