Blues Sign Shattenkirk To Long Term Deal

The Blues continued re-signing their free agents on Tuesday agreeing with Kevin Shattenkirk on a new long term deal. The moves comes one day after the team re-signing free agent center Patrik Berglund. Shattenkirk, a defenseman gets a four year contract worth 17 million dollars. Shattenkirk came over to the Blues in the big trade with the Colorado Avalanche for Erik Johnson in 2011. Shattenkirk played in all 48 games this past season for the Blues scoring five goals with 18 assists for 23 points.
