Craftsman “Make a Difference” Tour coming to St. Louis

VINITA PARK, MO. (KTVI) – On Sat., July 6, as part of the Craftsman “Make a Difference” Tour, the Craftsman brand, Sears Heroes at Home and Rebuilding Together St. Louis will complete a home renovation project benefiting local Army veteran Melvin Wright.

As an Army veteran Melvin Wright, served as a staff sergeant from 1971-1974, and then as a Reservist from 1975-1996.

The modifications to Wright and his wife Edith’s home, is to recognize the service Wright made to this country.  Repairs to the home will include painting, landscaping, building shelves and other projects to ensure a safe home environment.

This rebuild is one stop on the Craftsman “Make a Difference” Tour. The Tour will stop in 20 cities to provide home modifications for military veterans, participate in local restoration projects, disaster relief and consumer events throughout the summer.
