Early morning stabbing in South St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) – EMS responded to a call for a cutting in the 3100 block on Miami in south St. Louis, early Friday morning, just before dawn.

Upon arrival EMT’s found a male victim with a puncture wound to the abdomen and a cut the neck.

The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment to his injuries.  He’s listed in critical but stable condition.

An investigation has been opened in the case, but officers are having trouble communicating with him, because of a language barrier.
