ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Everyone knows who the Maytag® Repairman is. He’s never working because those darn Maytag washing machines never need repair – they are so reliable!

Clay Jackson is the face of the repairman and explains that Maytag is honoring the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis for helping create reliable kids with great futures.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis was selected as one of eleven Clubs nationwide to receive the 'Maytag® Dependable Club' award in recognition for its demonstrated commitment to dependability and dedication to keeping youth on the path to achieve great futures.

As part of the celebratory activities surrounding the honor, the 'Maytag Repairman' will present two kids from each Club with a Maytag award for good sportsmanship and character following the 'Triple Play' Field Day day-long competition.
