West Nile Positive Mosquitoes Found in Madison County

(KTVI) – The Madison County Health Department is reporting a second positive batch of West Nile mosquitoes in the Metro East.

The mosquitoes were collected in the town of Mitchell near Granite City. Positive batches have also been found in St. Clair County.

So far, no human cases have been reported in Illinois this season.
