CLAYTON, MO (KTVI) – Ellisville Mayor Adam Paul will remain in office.  A St. Louis County judge permanently reinstated Paul on Monday.

The judge says the city council violated Paul’s right to due process by adding an additional charge to his impeachment the day his hearing began.  The judge temporarily re-instated Paul last month but made the move permanent.

Last week the Ellisville City Council fired the city attorney who drew up the impeachment charges against Paul.
