JENNINGS, MO (KTVI) – The Craftsman Club and nonprofit Rebuilding Together St. Louis have teamed up to rebuild the home of Army veteran Melvin Wright who served as a staff sergeant from 1971-1974, and then as a Reservist from 1975-1996.

This is part of the ‘Make a Difference Tour’, sponsored by the Craftsman brand, and the Craftsman Club featuring Shop Your Way Rewards. The tour will stop in more than 20 cities to provide home modifications for military veterans, participate in local restoration projects, and disaster relief and consumer events throughout the summer. The goal is to inspire Americans to open their toolboxes and work with their hands, all while making a difference in the communities around them.

Dave Ervin, executive director of Rebuilding Together St. Louis, gave Elliot Weiler volunteers will work on the home July 6.
