More Surveillance Pics Of Alleged Walmart Thief Released

COLLINSVILLE, IL (KTVI)–The man who police say tried to saw through the roof of the Collinsville Walmart Monday morning has done this before.

According to Collinsville police, the suspect has committed other thefts at Walmart stores in Belleville, Litchfield, and O’Fallon, IL.

Early Monday, he tried to cut through the roof of the Collinsville Crossing Walmart in Collinsville.  Police say he climbed through a drop ceiling, crawled to an office where the money was kept and tried to saw through the drywall.

The suspect is an African American or Hispanic man in his late 20′s or early 30′s.
