Blues Deal Perron to Oilers

The Blues traded former first round draft pick David Perron to the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday for another former first round pick, left wing Magnus Paajarvi. The Blues will also get the Oilers 2nd round pick in the 2014 NHL Draft.

Perron the Blues first round pick in 2007 played six seasons for the Note, scoring 84 goals in 340 career games. Paajarvi, the Oilers top pick in 2010, has played three seasons in Edmonton, scoring 26 goals in 163 NHL games.
