ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Nick Mahrt, from the Lewis and Clark Baseball League, stopped by to tell Tim Ezell about the Double Play Benefit fundraiser to benefit “100 Neediest Cases” and the Lewis & Clark Baseball League.

The Lewis & Clark Baseball League was developed for college athletes and designed to let the players work during the summer, but still play ball on the weekend (this is not the case with most leagues - the players usually have to choose to work or play).

The legendary Lou Brock will be at the event (hosted at the Stadium) to have cocktails in the bullpen with sponsors. Proceeds from the benefit will go to the league as well as 100 Neediest Cases.
